• National Sales Director

    Axe Payments, an emerging leader in the merchant processing industry, is looking for a National Sales Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for managing our growing number of Independent Agents and sales efficiency. The successful candidate will have experience in merchant processing, 1099 Agent management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This is an office based position.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Own/Manage/Support Independent Sales Agent Relationships
    • Enter and maintain Agent demographics, status and financials in CRM
    • Assist Agents in closing deals
    • Review/Approval of all new merchant deals
    • Pipeline development/advancement/management
    • Support Operations throughout Onboarding Process
      • POS (Torch and Auphan) product demos
    • Schedule/coordinate/participate/track and resolve take aways/identify next steps
    • Virtual Terminal (Swipe Simple and Fluid Pay) demos
      • Schedule/lead VT Demos/ track and resolve take aways/identify next steps
    • Monitor/update Agent resources/marketing materials
      Support ticket submission
    • Ownership/Daily Review of merchants not advancing in Onboarding Process

     

    Preferred Background/Experience:

    • Merchant Services/ISO/POS experience a plus
    • Management of Agents/1099s
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong comfort with technology and learning new technologies
    • Ability to demonstrate solutions

  • Director of Operations

    Axe Payments, an emerging leader in the merchant processing industry, is looking for a Director of Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for operational efficiency and driving customer success initiatives. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in merchant processing, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of customer service best practices. This is an office based position.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage onboarding, support and customer success team
    • Act as liaison between Axe Payments/Merchant/Processor/POS
    • Provide advanced (Level 2) Customer Support
    • Develop and implement customer success strategies
    • Develop customer-facing processes and policies to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Manage customer relationships
    • Develop and maintain customer success metrics
    • Assist in opening and managing physical office location (not a remote position)

     

    Preferred Background/Experience:

    • 3+ years’ experience in merchant processing, preferably with familiarity of dual pricing/cash discounting programs
    • Comfortable with merchant processing technology and systems
    • Experience with POS and learning new POS systems
    • Experience with TSYS, FDR and/or Priority Payments preferred
    • Experience with credit card processing equipment and software, including but not limited to PAX and Dejavoo; Fluidpay and SwipeSimple
    • Experience working with Processor risk and underwriting
    • Experience working within CRM (IRIS a plus)
    • Management experience a plus
    • Ability to travel
