In 2018 merchants were growing increasingly weary of credit card reward and cash-back programs. Card payments skewed as the payment method of choice, interchange rates climbed to support rewards, and the financial burden fell on the merchant. Axe Pay saw an opportunity to advocate on the merchant’s behalf and launched our Zero Processing Fees Program.
